Suncoast Gem & Fossicking Club

We ain’t afraid of no rocks..

About -

The Suncoast Gem and Fossicking Club is a small not-for-profit organisation based on the Sunshine Coast.
We provide mentorship, where we teach the art and skills of silversmithing, lapidary and faceting to our members.

The Club has been established since 1985, from where our membership has grown and our club house has undergone improvements for which we have gratefully received grants throughout the years.
Our club is able to offer members teaching and assistance with the use of club machines, to ensure our members feel comfortable using any of our equipment for jewellery making, cutting stones, faceting and lapidary work.

There is always someone on site to give you a helping hand. If you are interested in joining our club you can head to our contact page for more information or alternatively you can find us on the following social sites:

Grants

The club would like to acknowledge the Sunshine Coast Council for awarding us some Grants, enabling the club to move forward and give our members more pride in their club. We have been able to carpet the stairs and floor of the new extension.

We have also been awarded a grant for 2025 from the Buderim Foundation Community, which enabled us the installion of air-conditioning in the faceting room.

The Suncoast Gem & Fossicking Club acknowledges the Sunshine Coast Country, home of the Kabi Kabi peoples and the Jinibara peoples, the Traditional Custodians, whose lands and waters we all now share.
